A Vicksburg man has been arrested by police on a warrant for parole violation from the Mississippi Department of Corrections, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

She said a warrant against Timothy Reeves, 37, involves theft of a vehicle and sale of a controlled substance.

In another case, Matthew Wells, 42, was arrested on a warrant from the Warren County District Attorney’s Office charging him with receiving stolen property. He was being held in the Issaquena County Correction Center, pending a hearing.
