Mary R. Clark

Mary R. Clark died Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, in Jacksonville, Fla. She was 96.

Born in Stuart, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Ted B. Richmond and Katherine Moore Richmond.

While in Vicksburg, Mrs. Clark was a member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary, the Evergreen Garden Club and the Porters Chapel Extension Homemakers. She was a member of the Crawford Street United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Explorers Bible Study Group.

She is survived by two daughters, Lou Clark Walsh of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mary K. Clark Gaidos of Issaquah, Wash.; her grandchildren: Mary Lou Golisch of Jacksonville, Fla., Daniel Edward Walsh of Jacksonville, Fla., Chris Gaidos of Ellensburg, Wash., Kevin Gaidos of Yakima, Wash.; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward L. Clark Jr.; sister, Grace Richmond Mann; and a brother, Paul Richmond. Mrs. Clark was also predeceased by an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Giffin.

Memorial services will be private.
