TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Clarence Loe “Bubba” Brook Jr., age 71, died Sunday, Oct. 09, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus, Miss.

Graveside services will be Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park, Tuscaloosa, with pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbus Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Bubba was born Monday, July 16, 1945, in Tuscaloosa to the late Dr. and Mrs. Clarence Loe Brook (Myrtle Johnson).

He was a member and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa. He was a 1963 graduate of Tuscaloosa High School, and received his B.A in business administration with a major in accounting from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.

He was an avid Alabama sports fan. After 29 years he retired from Sanderson Plumbing Products Inc., where he served as manager of maintenance stores, an inventory planner, and manufacturing scheduler.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Hossley Brook of Columbus; and his sister, Sandra Brook Chesnut (Oliver P.) of Columbus.

Pallbearers will be Steven Knight, Michael Battistello, Charles Gregory, Jerry Johnson, Hank Vaiden and Terrance McCaa.
