Grace Virginia Lynn passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at her home. She was 79.

She was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. She attended Highland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Richard Lynn; her daughter, Nora Lynn Lancaster; her brothers, V. O. Stevens Jr. and George Stevens; and her parents, V. O. Stevens Sr. and Lela Sanderford Stevens.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Todd Lynn and Fred Stacy Lynn of Vicksburg; daughters, Connie Norwood of Baton Rouge, La., Kathy McAuley of Vicksburg and Tracy Danczyk of Yuma, Ariz.; sisters, Lundy Marshall and Carolyn Dedmon of Vicksburg; her brother, Henry Stevens of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Ivey officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
