Tools and a firearm were reported stolen in two auto burglaries Monday, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

An air compressor, Ryobi drill and a flip-type cell phone were reported taken about 9:30 a.m. from a 1994 Nissan parked in the 800 block of Meadow Street.

The phone was later recovered.

• At about 10:45 a.m. Monday, a Smith & Wesson revolver was reported taken from a 2003 Chevrolet pickup parked at the Vicksburg Mall.
