Mary Beth Roberts Oliver died Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home.

She was 82.

Born in Monroe, La., Mrs. Oliver was a resident of Oak Grove, La., for a number of years, moving to Vicksburg in 1967. She was employed as an accountant for many years and also sold insurance and real estate. Mrs. Oliver was a member of Wilderness Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Harvie D. Oliver; son, Dale Oliver (Joann); two daughters, Dianne Fleming (Harry) and Donna Collins (John).

She is survived by six grandchildren, Davin Ripley, Brooke Sorrells (Chad), Merideth Bolls, Daniele Tatum (Craig), Austin Rocconi (Crystal) and Brittany Gordon (Matt); and four great-grandchildren: Alex Sorrells, Lanier Tatum, Craig Tatum “Bo” and Wyatt Gordon.

A private memorial graveside service will be held in Monroe, La. Memorials may be made to Wilderness Baptist Church and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
