Lee E. Eaton

PORT GIBSON — Lee E. Eaton of Port Gibson passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016. He was 60 years old.
Lee was born in Greenville and lived in Silver City, and moved to Port Gibson in 1979.
Lee worked for Grand Gulf Nuclear Plant as a systems engineer for 32 years. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Lee was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. He enjoyed life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loren D. Eaton, and mother, Evelyn K. Eaton.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Eaton; son, Loren Eaton (Brittany); and daughter Dawn Young (Clay); his grandson, Aiden Young; sister, Loree Hughes (Charles); and two nieces and cousins.
He is additionally survived by his uncle Joe and aunt Harriet of St. Paul, Minn.; and his mother-in- law, Doris McMahen.
Services were Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Port Gibson. Glenwood Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Burial followed at Wintergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steve Burris, Tony Powell, Mike Hurley, Chris Lloyd, Joe Grayson and Randy “Mac” May. Honorary Pallbearers were Jimmy Cassell, Mike Dent and Greg Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Parkway, Memphis, TN 38105
