Nina Gayle Lick died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at her home. She was 65.

Born in Ferriday, La., she was the daughter of the late Ernest Lee Self and Myrtis Watson Self.

A longtime resident of Vicksburg, Nina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  She had a passion and love for animals and their care. Nina attended Crossway Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Lick Sr.; daughter, Melissa Madura (Robert); son: Gary Lick Jr. (Angela); and two granddaughters: Lauren Victoria Marshall and Logan Elizabeth Marshall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nina was predeceased by her sister, Rita Hill.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry White, pastor of Crossway Church, officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be Gary Lick Jr., Robert Madura, Richard Muirhead, Barrett Scott, Jason Stokton and Ed Pace.
