Barbara Lefeve McCleese

Barbara Lefeve McCleese died Wednesday Nov. 9, 2016, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.  She was 74.

She was the daughter of the late Camile and Esther Lefeve.

Mrs. McCleese was a graduate of Vicksburg High School and Millsaps College.

She retired as a representative for the Social Security Administration. Mrs. McCleese was a member of St. Stephen Anglican Church in Flowood, where she was a member of the Daughters of the Cross. She served as a volunteer for The Salvation Army, as a child abuse representative for CASA, a den leader for the Cub Scouts and a volunteer for Flowers for Hospice Patients.

She is survived by her husband, Bill McCleese; two sons, Ed McCleese (Kim) of Lexington, Ken., and Wes McCleese (Melissa) of Clinton; four grandsons, Andy McCleese, Will McCleese, Kyle McCleese and Owen McCleese; and a brother, Doug Lefeve of Austin, Texas.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Riles Funeral Home with Father Jonathan Kell, pastor of St. Stephen Anglican Church of Flowood officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, and Saturday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.

Pallbearers will be Cody McKellar, Jason McKellar, Dennis Smith, Glenn Nickolson, David Dennis, and Bobby Barlow.

A memorial service will be held at a later at St. Stephen Anglican Church of Flowood.
