Despite being undermanned, Warren Central’s boys’ soccer team kept its early-season roll going.
Braylen Greer scored three goals and assisted on two more as the Vikings beat Clarksdale 6-0 Saturday in the first half of a doubleheader at a tournament in Laurel.
Hunt Holdiness added two goals and three assists and Graham Tweedle had a goal as the Vikings took 45 shots.
In the second game of the day, Greer had a goal and three assists to lead Warren Central to an 8-1 rout of Harrison Central. Holdiness scored three goals, Dillon Green had two, and Tweedle and Jack Richardson netted one each.
The two wins pushed the Vikings’ record to 3-0, despite being without the services of four players who are still attached to the football team. Warren Central will host Terry on Tuesday night in Bovina. It will play its home games at Link and Mlakar Fields near Clear Creek Golf Course until football season is over and it can return to Viking Stadium.
