Ola Mae Jarmon, 92 years of age, was  born in Pelahatchie.

She grew up in Delhi, La., where she graduated from Delhi High School.

Mrs. Jarmon was a longtime resident of Vicksburg. After the death of her husband, Henry McLean Jarmon, she moved to Clinton.

She died peacefully at her home Nov. 20.

She is survived by a sister and brother, Eloise and Lester Harrell (Corrine), both of Delhi, La. Other survivors include her children, Dr. Henry McLean Jarmon Jr. of Edwards, Mary Jo Jarmon of Clinton and Jeanette Jarmon of Starkville.

She also had five grandchildren, Jennifer Franklin of Petal, Sarah Wadford (Chris), Ben Carver (Jamie), Jesse Carver (Jennifer) and Aaron Carver (Genna).

There are 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She has numerous nieces and nephews in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Mrs. Jarmon was a very caring lady who worked for years at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg. She supported many Christian ministries and was known by all for her strong stance and support of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
