KOSCIUSKO — Mary Anne Casey, 78, of Vicksburg, went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Parkway Cemetery.

She was born July 15, 1938, in Leake County to Maybelle and Hayward Casey, the youngest of seven children. She worked for the Mississippi Department of Vocational Rehabilitation in Jackson for 36 years. She had lived in Vicksburg for the last four years due to medical issues, where she was cared for by her niece, Joan Campbell and family.

Mary Anne loved spending time with her many friends and family members and was always there in time of need to help in any way she could.  She traveled extensively after retirement throughout the United States and Europe.

Survivors include her sister, June Tolleson of Kosciusko; nieces, Joan Campbell, Pam McLemore, Nancy Lytell, Donna Threet and Brigitte Casey; nephews, Randy Tolleson, Jerry Dixon, Joe Dixon, Ricky Casey, Danny Casey and Don Henke Jr., as well as several great-nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly. She is also survived by her longtime close friend, Lynnis Birdsong.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Helen Dixon and Ruth Henke; brothers, John E. Casey, Joe Casey and Jimmie Casey; her brother-in-law and traveling buddy, Aaron A. Tolleson; and her special friend, Sterling Tighe.
