Rosemary Cashman Brown

Rosemary Cashman Brown died Saturday Jan. 7, 2017, at Merit Health-River Region. She was 97.  Mrs. Brown was born Sept. 23, 1919, to the late William Busch Cashman and Alma Barstow Cashman.

She was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. She attended All Saints High School in Vicksburg and Hillman College in Clinton.  She was a member of the Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, and First Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvert Hill Brown Sr.; and a sister, Frances Cashman Cooper.

She is survived by a son, Calvert Hill Brown Jr. of Vicksburg ;and a daughter, Mary Calvert Brown of Atlanta.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Riles Funeral Home. Burial will be atCedar Hill Cemetery.
