Thursa M. Westcott, 72, Utica, passed away Jan. 19, 2017, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
She was born and raised in Vicksburg and was a lifelong member of Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jewell Edna Duncan Scott and Harry L. Scott; daughter, Mary Bonnie Westcott; brother, Harry Scott Jr.; and grandson, Wesley Blazi.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie D. Westcott; one son, Scott (Ollie) Westcott; three daughters, Amanda (Dave) Daley, Bonnie (Dennis) Blazier and Karmin (Jason) Nowell; one brother, John (Nora) Scott; 14 grandchildren, Brandi Hamilton, Bryan Ratliff, Brandon Westcott, Brooke Haas, Madison, Macey and Hope Nowell, Cheyenne Williams, Candice Wolff, Abbie, Jim and Kelsey Hart, Mary Bittner and Mitch Velich; and seven great-grandchildren, Hadley and Lydia Andrew, Daniel, Tucker and Olivia Wolff, Corina Velich, and Maggie Haas.
Services will be held Jan. 24, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Glenwood Chapel, burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, from 1p.m. until hour of service.
David Harrison will be officiating the service under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Toby Westcott, Elvin Westcott, Tyler Haas, Brandon Westcott, Roger Arnold, Wil Wyman, Chris Cochran, and Jeremy Kirby.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. David M. Headley and Dr. Abdul Bahro.
