Drivers in good condition after head-on crash

Two vehicles collided nearly head on Friday night on Fisher Ferry Road, causing both drivers to be taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for emergency medical care.

At about 9:30 p.m. Friday, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the two-car crash on Fisher Ferry near Falcon Ridge.

Robert Kyle Provance, 27, of 4813 Nailor Road Lot 30, was southbound driving a white Chevy Trailblazer when he collided with a black Volkswagen Passat driven by George Price III, 39, of 4813 Nailor Road Lot 7, who was traveling northbound.

Provance was transported by ambulance to UMMC. Price was airlifted from Merit Health River Region Medical Center to UMMC.

Both men were listed in good condition Saturday afternoon.

A passenger in Provance’s vehicle, Roman Dale Embry, 31, of 109 Vickie Lane, was treated and released from Merit Health River Region.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said no citations have been issued at this time as the accident is still under investigation.
