Retired Master Sgt. Clarence Harris Jr. died Feb. 14, 2017, at his home. He was 68.
He served in the U.S. Army for 33 years before his retirement.
Survivors include his three sons, Anthony Harris and Michael Harris, both of Japan, and Randy Harris of Indianapolis; his daughter, Cathy (Steven) Harris Smothers of Conyers, Ga.; two sisters, Thelma Harris Perkins of Vicksburg and Connie (pastor Eddie) Harris Cooper of Ellisville; one granddaughter, Shamekia Smothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be noon Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service.
