Stacey Michelle Miller Fewell

Stacey Michelle Miller Fewell was born December 7,1968, and passed away February 2, 2017, in Houston, TX.
She is survived by her two young sons, Austin Taylor Fewell and Tyler Keith Fewell, Houston, TX; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis M. (Carolyn Bland) Miller, Jr.; her siblings, Lewis M. “Rusty” Miller, Ill, Steven Joel (Kim) Miller, all of Vicksburg, MS and Alexandra (Bradley) Downey, of Ridgeland, Mississippi, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who mourn her passing.
Predeceasing Stacey were her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James (Pauline Daniel) Bland, Jr.; her paternal grandparents, Mrs. Willie B. Miller, and Mr. and Mrs. (Carrie Paul) Lewis M. Miller, Sr.; and her great­grandparents, Mr. Leonard Taylor and Mrs. Bessie Taylor, with whom she had a very special relationship.
Stacey graduated from Warren Central High School in the class of 1986 where she was a basketball cheerleader and from the University of Mississippi in 1990 with a B.S. degree in Psychology. While a student at Ole Miss, she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She attended Mississippi College and earned a Certification in Elementary Education She was awarded a Master of Science degree in School Psychology from the
University of Houston in 2002 with distinguishing honors’ memberships in Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society and Psi Chi National Psychology Honor Society.
Stacey was a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) with Katy Independent School District in Katy, TX. She was a fierce advocate for the children with whom she worked, especially on the autism spectrum. She loved her work  and was  looking forward  to continuing her education to become an advocate for Special Education for  Parents and Children. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Houston, TX.
Stacey loved attending concerts with friends and traveling extensively in the United States and abroad. She back-packed through Australia, scuba-dived off the Great Barrier Reef, bungee-jumped from a cliff high over the Pacific Ocean in New Zealand and spent many happy years snow-skiing in Colorado. But, her greatest joy was spending time with her sons, Austin and Tyler.
A Gathering of Friends Ceremony was held at The Forest Club in Houston, TX, on Friday evening, February
10th, hosted by her Houston Family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18th, at Glenwood Funeral Home, Vicksburg, MS. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Dwight Sibley and Dr. Matt Buckles.
Burial will follow at City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ric Speights, Sean Brewer, Kevin Breazeale, Jamie Greer, Kenny Wilson, and George Wilkerson.
