Mrs. Juanita Marie O’Neal was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Vicksburg.
She departed this life Feb. 17, 2017, at Merit Health River Region. She was 67.
She is survived by one son, Herman (Shennelle) Parker; three daughters, Patricia Russell, Anita (Lawrence) Adams and Frankie Parker, all of Vicksburg; one sister, Beatrice Thomas of Vicksburg; two brothers, Charles Phoenix of South Carolina and Joseph O’Neal of San Francisco; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Washington O’Neal and Lucille Elmore; a stepfather, John Elmore; a son, Sherman DeWayne Parker; one brother, Johnny O’Neal; four sisters, Eliza O’Neal, Willie Williams, Florence Kiner and Rosemary O’Neal; and two grandsons, Joshua Parker and Robert Conner Jr.
Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
