Funeral services for Loice D. Mixon will be Saturday, Feb. 25, in the Holly Grove M. B. Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert L. Miller Sr. officiating.
Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Loice D. Mixon passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Merit Health River Region following a lengthy illness. She was 79.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Holly Grove M. B. Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Ross; her mother, Ethel Brown; her husband, Tommy Mixon; her brother, John Kelly; and her two sisters, Millard Ruth Cosby and Dorothy Kelly.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth C. Ross Sr. of Vicksburg; her daughter, Cheryl A. Washington of Vicksburg; her sister, Katie Berry of Vicksburg; a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
