Vanessa Carol Slaughter-Trotter died Saturday, March 18, 2017, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. She was 53.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at New Horizon International Church in Jackson with Bishop Ronnie C. Crudup Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Autumn Woods Cemetery in Jackson under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service.
