Funeral services for Cecil Lanier Brown will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Mission 66 Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 3 to 6 p.m., and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
Mr. Brown died March 19, 2017, at his home. He was 68.

The son of the late Brother Tommy Brown and Sister Mary Brown, he is survived by two sisters, Sharon Judson and Natalie Erves, both of Vicksburg; three nephews, Keith L. Wolfe, John T. Erves and William A. Erves, all of Vicksburg; one niece, Perla S. Judson of Vicksburg; two adopted sisters: Dr. I.V. Erves of Vicksburg and Deborah Armstrong of Brooklyn, N. Y.
He was a graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School class of 1966.
