George Rhea Dwiggins passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at his home.  He was 70. 

He was born Jan. 8, 1947 in Vicksburg to James Smith Dwiggins and Beulah Graham Dwiggins. 

He is survived by his wife, Naomi Ruth Dwiggins; five stepchildren, LeAnna, Melody, Angela, Rachel and Patrick; one half-brother, James Bright of Benton; one aunt, Bessie Ellis of Benton; nephews, Jesse and Tim Dwiggins of Vicksburg, John, James Lee and Jason Bright of Benton; Lisa Green of Dresden, Tenn.; and Evon Haun of Munford, Tenn.; and a host of great nephews, great nieces, cousins, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, James Allen Dwiggins and Lawrence Wiley Dwiggins. 

A celebration of life memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, at Bradley’s Chapel Methodist Church, 13815 Oak Ridge Road.
