Eddie “Puncho” DeFrance III passed away suddenly April 3.  He was 37. 

He was of the Baptist faith. 

He is survived by his son, Dentarious Richardson of Vicksburg; his daughters, Desirae Richardson of Vicksburg, Kiara DeFrance and K’Y’ Anna DeFrance, both of Texas; his father, Eddie DeFrance Jr. of Vicksburg; his mother, Anie Woodland of Vicksburg; his brothers, Lonnie Shelton, Leon Woodland and Tyree Woodland, all of Vicksburg; his sister, Regina Shelton of Vicksburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 15, in the Chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 1p.m. with the Rev. Michael Wesley officiating.

Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held Friday at the Funeral Home.
