Mary Joan Tedder Huval

Mary Joan Tedder Huval of Breaux Bridge, La., formerly of Vicksburg, died Saturday June 3, 2017, at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas, La.  She was 74.

She was a native of Bentonia.  She worked at the Townhouse Salon as a hairdresser for many years.  She also served as president of the Vicksburg Hairdresser’s Association.  She was well loved and will be greatly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Tedder, Geraldine Shearer Tedder and Clyde Fowler; and a son, James Paul Clark.

She is survived by her husband, Carl John Huval; a son, Randy Dwayne Clark (Nanette) of Cecilia, La.; and a daughter, Cleo Moore (Steven) of Arnaudville, La.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 10, at Riles Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with Father P.J. Curley of St. Michael Catholic Church officiating.

Pallbearers will be Elvin Parker, Sidney Parker, B.J. Angelle, Dave Sampson, Jason Lee and Vernon Blanchard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Menard and Dr. Elliott.
