UNION CITY, Calif. — Gloria Jean Bailey Turner, a resident of Union City, passed away July 1, 2017. She was 67.

She was a graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School’s class of 1968. She was a member of Palma Ceir Baptist Church inn Haywood, Calif.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Turner; parents, Johnny Bailey Sr. and Bernice Houzah Bailey; sisters, Mary Foster, Lillie Bailey and Shirley Bailey; and brother, O.C. Bailey.

She leaves behind her sons, Marcus Turner of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lamar Turner of Calif.; six sisters, Ruby Valentine, Josephine Davis, both of Oakland, Calif., Bernice Money of New York, Betty Bailey and Velma Bailey of Vicksburg; two brothers, Robert Bailey and Johnny Bailey, both of Vicksburg.

Flowers and condolences, along with services and interment will be in the chapel of the Chimes in Hayward.
