Shirley Mae Robison Seltzer

Shirley Mae Robison Seltzer died Monday, July 17, 2017. She was born Jan. 14, 1937, in Lynchburg, Va. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Lee Coleman and Scottie Mae Wooldridge Coleman. She moved to Newport News, Va., in her early teens, where she married Joseph F. Robison Sr., later moving to Vicksburg in 1978, where he died Nov. 22, 2009. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Richard Seltzer; daughter, Amy Joanne Keatts (Antonio); two sons, Joseph Franklin Robison Jr. (Molly) and Jeffrey Wayne Robison (Cherrie); five grandchildren, Christopher Vencill, Tyler Robison, Jeremy Robison, Jeffrey Robison and Emily Robison; and three great-grandchildren, Ella Robison, Zoey Robison and Easton Robison.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Holt Shaner.
Services will be noon Friday, July 21, at Riles Funeral Home with Brother Dwight Sibley and Brother Tony Monk officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Central MS Alzheimer’s Association, 232 Market Street, Second Floor, Flowood, MS 39232.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Robison, Jeremy Robison, Christopher Vencill, John Haughton, Dylan Bagwell and John Mathes.
The family would like to give special thanks and appreciation to Camellia Home Health and Hospice , Medical Associates of Vicksburg and Dr. Paul Pierce III for the loving care given to Shirley in the past months.
