Stolen truck, trailer and mower recovered quickly

A 2011 Ford F-350 pickup, trailer and zero-turn radius lawn mower reported stolen Wednesday from the Vicksburg Park and Recreation complex on Halls Ferry Road were recovered the same day by police, Vicksburg police Sgt. Johnnie Edwards said.
The truck was reported stolen Wednesday morning. It was recovered in the 1400 block of Main Street and the trailer and mower were later recovered in the 51 block of Charpin Lane.
In other cases:
• A car charger for a cell phone and a checkbook were reported stolen about 11:56 p.m. Wednesday from a car parked in the 1300 block of Cherry St.
• Floor tile valued at $4,500 was reported stolen about 9:09 a.m. Wednesday from a work site at 1014 Walnut St.
• A Samsung cell phone, speaker, T-shirt, coffee mug and a bag of peanuts were reported stolen about 9:35 a.m. from the Mad Baker, 1119 Washington Street.
