Funeral services for David Wright will be held Thursday, Sept. 7, in the Chapel of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Larry D. Ross officiating. Interment shall follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery .

David Wright passed away Aug. 29 at Merit Health River Region following a lengthy illness. He was 68. He was a member of the Bethlehem M. B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Evaline Wright Sr.; his brothers, Henry Wright, Willie Wright, Joseph Wright and James Wright Jr.; and his sister, Hattie Wright Ross.

He is survived by four nieces; four nephews; and others.
