Dorothy Rose Wallace, 90, of Vicksburg died on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017.

She was born Friday, June 24, 1927, in Union Church.

She was a member of Eagle Lake United Methodist. She was so proud of her church, she picked flowers out of her own personal flower beds to make an arrangement to take to place in the church every Sunday morning.

She held the distinction of being the only licensed lawnmower repair lady in the state of Mississippi.

She was known for her generosity of helping others in need by becoming productive citizens.

Surviving are a son, Earl Wallace (Diane) of Vicksburg; brothers, the Rev. Thomas Jerald Cupit of Tupelo and Mr. Calvin Cupit of Portsmouth, Va.; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by parents, Horace and Susie Cupit; husbands, Winford Wallace Sr. and Wooddrow Wallace; brothers, Horace Dodds Cupit Jr. and Donald Cupit.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral Services are Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Troy Piccaluga and the Rev. Joe Harris officiating. Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Interment follows at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
