ROLLING FORK — Funeral services for Katherine Cox Tingle, 90, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, at Rolling Fork United Methodist Church. Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 3 until 5 p.m.

Mrs. Tingle of Rolling Fork passed away on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017. She was a member of the Rolling Fork United Methodist Church. Mrs. Tingle was a graduate of Mississippi State College for Women

Mrs. Tingle owned and operated the Rolling Fork Flower and Gift Shop for 56 years.

Mrs. Tingle was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lester Cox of Philadelphia; her husband, Mr. Charles William Tingle of Rolling Fork.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay Tingle Black (Ern) of Rolling Fork; granddaughters, Anna Katherine Martin (Andrew) and Mariah Clark (Doug) all of Starkville; four great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Wallace Cox (Shirley) of Philadelphia, brother-in law, Melvin Tingle (Betty) of Decatur; sister-in-law, Honor Tingle (RC) of Jackson.
