It never trailed again.

Collins delivered another RBI single in the third inning and Holmes drove in a run with a sacrifice fly to make it 5-1. The Lady Trojans added an unearned run in the bottom of the fifth for insurance.

Tallulah can win the Class A title with one more win over Humphreys Academy. Game 2 of the best-of-three series is Saturday at noon in Belzoni. If a Game 3 is needed, it will be played immediately afterwward.
