Warren Central has two football all-stars

Warren Central prides itself on not having a lot of stars, but Mississippi’s football coaches apparently think otherwise.

The Vikings had two players — offensive lineman Braden Moody and linebacker Jeremy Miller — named to Mississippi All-Star teams when the rosters were announced Wednesday.

Moody will play in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game Dec. 16 in Hattiesburg. The two-year starter has helped the Vikings average 211.7 rushing yards per game this season, a year after they had three 1,000-yard rushers.

Miller was picked for the Bernard Blackwell Mississippi All-Star Classic. The linebacker is second on the team with 43 tackles. He also has three sacks and two forced fumbles.

The Bernard Blackwell game will be played Dec. 9 in Gulfport.
