Funeral services for Ardella Mae Wardley will be Saturday Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. at Greater Grove St. M. B Church with the Rev. Dr. Casey D. Fisher officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Mrs. Wardley passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Merit Health River Region following a lengthy illness.  She was 70. 

She was a homemaker and member of the Bethlehem M. B. Church.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, her father, Johnnie Woods, her mother Ella Brent Woods; and her brother Eddie Brent.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Wardley of Vicksburg; her six sons, Donald Woods, Jula Wardley, Anthony Wardley, Tracey Wardley and Damion Wardley all of Vicksburg and Tony Wardley of Houston, Texas; her daughter, Stacey Wardley Bell of Vicksburg; her three brothers, Johnny Woods Jr., Matthew Woods, and Ira Woods all of Vicksburg; her three sisters, Ethel Brent McGowan, Terrazina Woods and Jacqueline Woods Swartz all of Vicksburg; 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and others.
