Funeral services for Edwin Cordell Brown will be Saturday, Oct. 21, at Mount Zion M. B. Church in Cary at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Cary Community Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Brown passed away on Sunday, Oct. 15. He was 41.

He was employed as a landscaper and was a member of the New Vision Baptist Church.

He is survived by his three sons, Edwin Cordell Brown Jr., of Vicksburg, Brandon Lee Brown of Vicksburg and Ezekiel Cordell Brown of Killeen Texas; a daughter, Elondria Brown of Killeen, Texas; his father, Ernest Smith of Cary; his mother, Doris Williamson of Cary; a brother, Roderick L. Brown of Cary; his three sisters, Brittany Smith of Pine Bluff, Ark., Marketta Knight of Rolling Fork, and Linda Stamps of Cary, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
