Zaria R. Johnson

Zaria R. Johnson died Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 16.

She was a member of Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Warren Central High School.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rochella Garrison.

Survivors include her mother, Laurel McDaniel (fiancé, Marktaus Berry); father, Zeddie Dion Johnson; sisters, Lexus Harris and LaMari McDaniel; brothers, Marveon McWilliams and Xavius McDaniel; maternal grandfather, Lealand Garrison; paternal grandparents, Zeddie and Aggie Hill, Bradford and Adriene Smith; paternal grandmother, Alice P. Williams and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends including the Berry, Smith, and Goodman families of Vicksburg.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Rudy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
