Police recover stolen weapons

Juluis Mobley, 25, was arrested by the Vicksburg Police Department on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of stolen property.
VPD arrested Mobley after serving a search warrant at 110 Sherwood Drive.
“We received information from a Crimstoppers tip that some weapons were located at 110 Sherwood Drive,” Sgt. Johnnie Edwards said. “We received a tip that a stolen weapon was located at this residence. We obtained a search warrant.”
Edwards said the weapons recovered were two from the 15 stolen on Tuesday from a home on the 1400 block of Wisteria Drive.
Mobley is currently being held without bond.
In other crime news:
VPD responded to a vehicle break-in Oct. 19 at 8:55 p.m. on Crestwood Drive. A blue Jessica Simpson purse, medication and credit cards were reportedly stolen out of a 2010 GMC Terrain.
VPD recovered a stolen vehicle reported stolen out of Jackson. The 1996 Buick Century was recovered and Antonio Knight, 28, and Jimmy Knight, 30, were arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of a stolen vehicle because of the car’s value following a traffic stop at Bowmar and Yerger streets.
Edward Bush, 31, was arrested by VPD and charged with felony alluding arrest after fleeing from a traffic stop at the intersection of Monroe and South streets. Edwards said Bush was later apprehended on First East Street.
Reginald Rogers, 40, was arrested by VPD on an outstanding Louisiana warrant for felony domestic aggravated assault.
Arthur Watson, 30, was arrested Oct. 17 on a warrant for residential burglary. He is currently being held without bond.
Lori Lampkin, 45, turned herself into VPD on an outstanding warrant for embezzlement.
Tracy Brown, 49, is being held without bond pending an initial appearance after being arrested on a warrant for posting messages on electronic media for the purpose of causing injury.
He was arrested at Mission 66 and Main Street.
Shirley Harris turned herself in on charges of possession and sale/transfer of a stolen firearm. She was given a $2,500 bond by judge Toni Terrett.
Brittany Ford, 29, was arrested Oct. 19 at VPD on two counts of credit card fraud.
