Warren Central used a huge win to jump back into the Mississippi Associated Press high school football poll.

The Vikings checked in at No. 10 in this week’s overall poll, and No. 5 in the Class 6A poll, following their 23-0 victory over then-No. 3 Starkville last Friday.

Warren Central (7-3) had climbed as high as No. 7 in the overall poll, before taking its first loss against Northwest Rankin on Sept. 22. This is the first time it has cracked the top five of the Class 6A poll.
