Annie Laura Boone Hunter passed away Tuesday Nov. 7, 2017, at Merit Health River Region. She was 81 years old.

Annie was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith. She was a resident of Vicksburg Convalescent Home for many years.

She is preceded in death by her daughters, Kim Dick Flowers and Kara Dick; parents, John W. and Mary L. Whitten Boone; brothers, Daniel L. Boone, John Austin Boone, Vinkley L. Boone, Vernon L. Boone, James W. Boone and Wilfred (Will) L. Boone; and her sisters, Louise Mullen, Leona Beasley and Margie Foley.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Boone Pagan, six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home with service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Mullen, Jimmy Mullen, Robert Foley, Daniel Boone, Kenny Boone and Josh Sharlow.

The family would like to thank the staff of Vicksburg Convalesscent Home for their care and devotion.
