Vicksburg police are seeking information about the Wednesday theft of $2,500 and a gold bracelet and necklace from a man who was staying at a room at the Riverwalk Casino, 1046 Warrenton Road, Sgt. Johnnie Edwards said.

He said the man told police he checked into the hotel room and then passed out. When he woke up, he said, the money and the jewelry were gone. Edwards said video surveillance showed there had been several people going to and from the room during the evening, and officers investigating the case found a white, crystal-like substance in a bottle that was sent to the state Crime Lab for analysis.

In other cases:

• A wallet containing credit cards was reported taken Wednesday from a car parked at the Lady Luck Casino, 1380 Warrenton Road.

• A woman reported Wednesday that she had lost her debit card in the Pemberton Boulevard area and someone used it to make an $86.26 purchase.
