Chris Early scored a game-high 28 points, two of them coming on a one-handed dunk that ignited a decisive run in the fourth quarter, and Warren Central’s boys’ basketball team beat Hattiesburg 58-49 on Saturday.

Early’s dunk with about five minutes remaining helped the Vikings pull away in what had been a back-and-forth game to that point.

De’Arius Henyard and Randy Clark added nine points each for Warren Central. Matias Pruitt led Hattiesburg with 11 points, and Jayden Howell scored 10.
