This year Santa is flying into town and he’s stopping at the Vicksburg Tallulah Regional airport, Dec. 2.
The Southern Heritage Air Foundation will host breakfast with Santa. The annual event, which begins at 8 a.m., has been held at the SHAF Hangar at the Vicksburg Tallulah Regional Airport in Tallulah for two years.
Tickets can be acquired via the Southern Heritage Air Foundation’s Facebook page and will not be sold at the door.
In the past two years, tickets have been sold out in three days or less, according to the Southern Heritage Air Foundation.
Each ticket is $10 and will lead to an array of fun Christmas activities for the children.
Along with having a pancake breakfast with Santa, children will receive access to the SHAF’s ornament making and cookie decorating stations.
The Christmas spirit will most definitely kick in when children get to tell Santa their Christmas gift wishes and take a picture with the jolly man. This year’s Christmas picture will be different though because children can take a picture with Santa next to one of the SHAF’s WWII or Vintage aircraft.
Children will also have the opportunity to write a letter to Santa at the SHAF Letters to Santa station and take pictures in the organization’s photo-op station.
Each child is guaranteed a great time, along with a coloring book or a reading book. The books will be a gift hand delivered from Santa himself.
The event starts at 8 a.m. and will end at 9:30 a.m.
Breakfast will include pancakes, orange juice and coffee.
Also, be sure to arrive early and bring a toy for a child at St.Jude’s Children’s hospital. Each participating group that drops off a toy will immediately be entered into a door prize drawing.
