Funeral services for Ruby Louise Waites will be Saturday, Dec. 2, in the Chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with Evangelist Constance Braxton officiating; interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The visitation was Friday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m.

Ruby Louise Waites passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, at Merit Health River Region following a brief illness. She was 89.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ransom Jones and Elnora Warfield; her husband, Robert M. Waites; her brothers, Felds Williams and Clarence Warfield; and her sisters, Hazel Jones, Evonne Earl, Florence Warfield and Geneva Warfield Evans.
