Bill Purdom passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, at his home.

Bill is survived by his wife, Roxie Marcile “Marcy” Carraway Purdom; son, Aaron Purdom; daughter, Evelyn Purdom; grandson, Daxton Myers; and brothers, Richard Purdom and Robert Purdom.

He and his wife, Marcy, were married for 39 strong years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Purdom; and his mother, Edith Purdom.

Bill was employed by Fordice Construction, Baker Security and Ergon Trucking.

The family would like to thank Baptist Hospice – Yazoo City for a wonderful job in caring for him.

Services will be Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Riles Funeral Home in Vicksburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Baptist Hospice – Yazoo City 732 East 15th Street Yazoo City, MS 39194 in William “Bill” Purdom’s name.
