Willie F. Short died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at Promise Hospital. He was 72.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his three daughters, Katrina (Brian) Short Stallworth, Yolanda Short and Brittney Short; one son, Frank Short; three sisters, Dorothy Mae (Tommy) Henyard, Lillian (Willie) Lampkin and Marvis (Allen) Wilson-Bryant; one brother, Curtis (Ann) Wilson; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Wilson; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Lassiter Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
