Alice Virginia Barber went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at her residence in Vicksburg. She was 82.

Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Butler; her son, Lee Wiley Barber Jr.; her parents, Fred M. and Eddie Dillon Magee; three sisters; six brothers and her great-granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband, Lee W. Barber of Vicksburg; one daughter, Sherilyn (Steve) Abney of Vicksburg; one son, Ricky Barber of Vicksburg; one sister, Sheryl (John) Downing of Bowling Green, Ky.; one brother, Johnny E. Magee of Bogalusa, La.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with Father P.J. Curley officiating.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service.
