Carolyn Edleston

Memorial services for Carolyn Edleston, age 74, of Tallulah, La., are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Services will take place at First Baptist Church of Tallulah.

Carolyn was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Carolyn was an avid Bible reader, loved worshipping the Lord and was a prayer warrior that was integral to so many lives. She had a very special devotion to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother, Irma Triplett; father, William Triplett; and brothers, Stuart and Jimmy Triplett.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jodie Edleston of Tallulah; son, Christopher D. Adams of Tallulah; son, Keith E. Adams and his wife Christine of West Monroe, La.; son, Adam Edleston and his wife Renee of Florence; daughter, Angel Thompson and her husband Ray of Vicksburg; twelve beautiful grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She is also survived by a sister, Betsy Pryor and her husband Brian of Tampa, Fla.; brother, George Triplett and his wife Sharon of Mountain City, Tenn.; brother, Tommy Triplett and his wife Ruby from Largo, Fla.; many precious nieces and nephews; and her dear prayer partners and friends.

“Mimi,” as she was affectionately called, is dearly loved and missed by all.
