Mary Ann Edney Jackson died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. She was 73.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Hilery W. and Annie L. Edney; her daughter, Jenny Chambers; and brother, Steve E. Edney.  

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Jackson of Chatanooga, Tenn.; brothers, Joseph W. Edney Sr. of Greenville and Dr. Daniel Edney of Vicksburg; and three grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Meridian with Dr. Matt Buckles of First Baptist Church officiating.

Pallbearers will be Joseph W. Edney Sr., Joseph W. Edney Jr., Dr. Dan Edney, Daniel Edney II, Jonathan P. Edney and Michael Posey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve E. Edney Jr. and Sean Edney.
A special thanks is extended to the staffs of St. Joseph Hospice, Belmont Gardens and Shady Lawn Nursing Home.
