Karen Lee Hamill died Monday, March 5, 2018, in Louisville. She was 65.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, she had attended Sheltered Acres School.

For the past six years, she had made her home in Louisville.

She was a member of Crossway Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Betron Lee and Sarah Clytee Cook Hamill.

Survivors include her two sisters, Monica (Billy) Coomes of Vicksburg and Rita (M.B.) Stringer of Collierville, Tenn.; her brother, Barry (Karen) Hamill of Louisville; one niece; four nephews; and other relatives.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Netterville officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Thursday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Coomes, Bertron Hamill, Clint Sanders, Clyde Posey, Don McAuley and Josiah Phillips.
