Funeral services for Ollie Mae Strong will be Saturday, June 2, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert L. Miller Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at China Grove Cemetery.

Ollie Mae Strong passed away Wednesday, May 23, at Merit Health River Region following a brief illness. She was 96.

She was a homemaker and member of the China Grove M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earic and Eunice Thomas Strong; her brothers, Earic Strong Jr., Melvin Strong, Dan Strong, Issac Strong and Walter Strong; and her sisters, Abbie Strong, Annie J. Strong and Robbie Shorter.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Faul Strong of Gardenia, Calif.; and her sisters, Eunice Strong of Los Angeles, Calif., and Agazine Jones of Vicksburg.
