Letter: Thank you to all those who supported lake fest

To the editor:

Eagle Lake Matters Association would like to thank all those who came to celebrate Lake Fest 2018 on May 26th. The support of our residents and the surrounding communities made this event our most successful one yet. We appreciate the 50 vendors that participated in selling their wares and hope to see you again next year.

Special thanks to Keith and Karen Sanders for so graciously hosting the event on their property, Paul Banchetti, Ken and Diane Klaus, Keith Klaus, Jim and Betsy Bailey, Lou Parker, Bill Harris, David Langley, Jeremy Beasley, Beautiful Deliverance for manning Kids Fest, Eagle Lake Volunteer Fire Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Department and The Landing and Lo Sto for their support. Sponsorships include Grey Plumbing, Newbreak Communications, Keyes Recycling/River City Dirt Works, LLC and Yore Country Store.

We would also like to recognize the Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Waste Management, Bovina Grocery & Texaco Service Station, Eagle Lake Volunteer Fire Department, V105.5, Guilt Ridden Troubadour, The Chill, and a special thanks to Christie Beasley for singing the Star Spangled Banner on this Memorial Day weekend.

The Lake Fest committee sincerely appreciates all the hard work, donations and sponsorships that made the day wonderful. We hope to see everyone next year at Lake Fest 2019!

On another note, special thanks to the following property owners, Paul Banchetti, Tommy Beasley, Ralph Brumfield, Bill Harris, Ken Klaus, and Glenn LeCompte who helped erect the new Eagle Lake sign and three flag poles at the intersection of Highway 465 and Eagle Lake Shore Road.

The Eagle Lake community is truly blessed for all the support we have received during the year.
